We love what we do

In 2012 Didier Haus was formed, a Mother and Daughter team concentrating on domestic cleaning services for friends and family. Due to demand and recommendations this has grown into the business it is today. We have met some amazing people on our journey so far. Our core business has developed to working with the older generation who are limited in their mobility but still want to have a hand in the maintenance of their homes.

This inspired us to change direction and offer lifestyle assistance to those who wish to be encouraged to do the things they are still able to do and allow us at Didier Haus to do the things they can't. We love what we do and enjoy the company and knowledge that is gained from our clients. Relationships have been formed and extended family members have been given the peace of mind that their loved ones are being taken good care of whilst they run their own busy lives.

Lifestyle changes for the Elderly

As we mature, our lifestyle changes and small tasks can be more of a challenge. This can include climbing a ladder to get into the loft, reaching the tea bags on the top shelf,  changing the bed, wrestling with the duvet, changing and washing the net curtains, driving to the supermarket or carrying the shopping to the house and putting it away. These are tasks that have been taken for granted for years and in the blink of an eye can become challenging.   

At Didier Haus we understand that everyone needs a helping hand at some point and can help you manage your life whilst still doing as much as you can or want to for yourself. We'll come to you, listen to your needs and together, come up with a logical, feasible plan that works for you. First-time clients quickly become long-term.

Heart of Kent Hospice trading department are proud to work alongside Didier Haus for the donation and collection of unwanted / surplus household and clothing items. these are delivered to us by Helen and her team and placed into one of our 15 Charity shops or ebay site (HOKHORG) where they are sold. The money raised goes towards supporting the service that the Hospice provides.

Helen is efficient and conscientious in whatever she does whether gardening or house cleaning. She takes a personal interest in my preferences and wishes. She uses her own initiative when choices are to be made and will help if needed with jobs not directly related to her employment. Due to her lovely caring nature she is very suited to work for the elderly persons who have become restricted in what they can personally undertake. It is very obvious she enjoys her work tremendously and is a joy to have around.

Helen and Raquel have been helping me since I came out of hospital following a severe bout of pneumonia. They are sensitive and kind, always making sure that they are doing all the jobs exactly as I have requested. They are very conscientious and reliable. They use natural cleaning products in my cottage that do not upset my chest. They are willing to undertake many different activities and are unfailingly cheerful when we  work together. I have found them trustworthy, punctual and honest, so I can sincerely recommend them to anyone needing their help. I am a regular traveller and Raquel helps me all the time with my packing and unpacking while I am at work. She goes into my home and takes the list of clothes and expertly packs them along with shoes and toiletries and all I need to do have a look through and close the lid and pick up my passport. Coming home its great to find a pint of milk in the fridge, the heating on and a freshly made bed. Great service - much appreciated, and highly recommended.
